V3 Solutions LLC was founded in 2005 by Jeff Jacobsen, a petroleum engineer with over 20 years experience in the IT field within the energy industry. After a successful stint as the founder of Bengal Development, a company that developed enterprise-wide software (Bengal AFE Management System), Jeff turned his attention to the information delivery gaps in the industry. While working on enterprise-wide software at Bengal Development, Jeff understood that “information delivery” from vertical applications was typically an afterthought, and Jeff vowed that if he ever had the chance to create software, reporting and information delivery would be the focus. And so V3 Solutions was born – a company dedicated to creating innovative and practical solutions for information delivery to the oilfield.
